Turkey Day!

It’s slowly closing in on the big day (tomorrow!) when everyone is done with classes for the week and can head home to celebrate Thanksgiving! I can’t wait!

So what should a good college student do to prep for the big trip home and the holiday season:

1. Bring home all clothes that are not longer wearable for winter (dresses, shorts, sandals...)

2. Also bring home light homework, as it is difficult to get anything accomplished while at home, but it’s important to make an effort.

3. Boots (whether you are a boy or a girl) are always a good choice for this time of year and the holiday season. Coats are a good idea too. Can't forget matching gloves and scarf.

4. Get started on Holiday gift shopping, Black Friday is right around the corner! (Sales, sales, sales!)

5. Eat lots of food!

6. Don’t forget to stop and enjoy your time with your friends, family, and loved ones. Being in the rush rush lifestyle of college, it’s easy to forget about the people who mean the most to you. So give Grandma a big hug, Call your Uncle in North Dakota, and tell your family and friends how much they mean to you and how thankful you are that they are in your life.
