Wow, December has flown by! The first few weeks are always hectic on campus with classes wrapping up, finals week, and students packing up to go home for winter break. All of our students are home now to enjoy the Holidays with their friends and families. We even get a little extra time off after the Holidays for some R&R! :) Campus will be back in full swing for the start of the spring semester on January 17th. This is going to be my LAST semester of classes, it's very bittersweet! I can't believe I've gone through 4 1/2 years of the program already. It's going to be so odd not to be on campus next year. But I am really looking forward to completing my APPE rotations. We have almost 500 sites to choose from this year including international rotations, sites across the country, and some nationally competitive opportunities at sites like the FDA, CDC, and various national pharmacy organizations. So far I have my list narrowed down to about 100 sites, guess I better keep narrowing it down since we only complete 6! The year will be a whirlwind of new places and people, but I know I'll learn a lot and be exposed to many great areas of pharmacy.
In other exciting news, Congratulations to all of our accepted Early Decision Students!! Keep in touch with the Office of Admissions about any questions you may have, and don't forget current students are always on the Facebook page to answer any of your questions!
Wishing all of you a safe and happy holiday season! Keep and eye out for more updates next year! :)
